Bacarnival - Festival Identity Design
A festival identity design to reintroduce Bacardi to younger generation. Bacarnival (a compound of 'Bacardi' and 'carnival') is a carnival featured by extremes. The brands DNA was identified as freedom, expression and connection, with personality traits including courageousness, optimism, spontaneous, sociable and playful. Therefore, the concept behind this festival aims to challenge the target audience into exploring with the extreme, encouraging them to express themselves also be free from 'no' and 'limits'. For the visual, the key identity was defined as spreading-wing bat coded from branding physique and colours that are adapted from Caribbean and carnival style.
